IM&T Training - Clinical Applications
Our IM&T Clinical Training Team has vast experience in providing successful clinical systems training to many healthcare organisations for both local and national projects. The team has considerable experience in understanding key processes and pathways in both Primary and Secondary Care. We work closely with customer organisations on clinical system optimisation projects to ensure clinical services are making the most of functionality available whilst ensuring the system supports best clinical practice. A programme of learning opportunities is always agreed to ensure that the training programme meets customer needs and all training can be tailored to include workplace training, tutor led classroom based training, 1:1 tutorials, e-learning packages and accompanying materials.
An important part of our work involves supporting projects focused on improving the patient information flow between Primary and Secondary Care. Education and Training is also crucial in current national projects such as Electronic Prescribing and Summary Care Record.
Our Clinical Systems Training Team have extensive experience of training in clinical systems supporting all different care settings and the full range of functionality, which include:
- Patient Administration Systems
- Summary Care Record
- Order Communications
- Electronic Discharge Summary
- GP and Patient letters
- Electronic Prescribing.
The team provides sustainable training for all provider services, with a variety of courses made available across the local health community.
